Learn how to create material groups, edit material groups, change material groups and delete material groups using your Onetrace account.

Your material library is a centralised place using which you can create and manage your material groups. It serves as a robust platform where you can create, categorise, and maintain your material groups efficiently.

In this guide we will teach you to:


Steps To Create Material Rate Groups

  1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

  2. Choose the Settings tab using the left navigation bar.

  3. Click on Materials

  4. In the Add Material Group field, input the name of the Material Group.

  5. Click the Add button.

Steps To Edit the Name of Your Material Group

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Settings tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click Materials.

4. To edit the Material Group name, click the name you want to edit.

5. Edit the Name and click the Save Changes button.


Steps To Change Material Groups

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Library tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click Materials.

4. To swap the Material Group, click the Name of the Item you want to edit.

5. Using the Material Group dropdown choose the option of your choice.

✨ Your changes will be automatically saved.

OR

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Library tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click Materials.

4. Click the box to the left of the material you wish to change.

5. Click the Change Group icon from the dynamic island.

6. Select a Material Group using the dropdown menu.

7. Click the Save Changes button.


Steps To Delete Material Groups

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Settings tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click Materials.

4. To delete a Material Group, move your cursor to the right of the desired material group and click the Bin icon.

Note: If the group has materials in it you would need to move them to a new group before you delete them

5. Click the Confirm button.
