🚀 Adding and managing materials in Project templates

Add materials to your project template to quickly build projects with consistent information for your organisation.

With Onetrace, you can customise your job forms to include only the materials that are relevant to each project. This allows you to:

  • Add or remove materials from your project templates based on specific job requirements.

  • Ensure that operatives select from pre-approved, project-specific materials.

  • Improve accuracy and efficiency in material tracking and reporting.

This level of customisation ensures that every project has the right resources listed from the start, supporting smooth execution and precise cost control.

Adding materials to project templates:

How to add materials to project templates:

  1. Navigate to the Library on the bottom left-hand side of your screen

  2. Click Project Templates

  3. Select the template which you’d like to add materials to

  4. Choose the Materials & Rates tab

  5. Click on the blue Material Manager button

  6. You can choose to import whole material groups or individual materials into the template

  7. Once you’ve selected the materials to add, click the blue Add (no.) Materials button

How to delete materials from a project template:

  1. Navigate to the Library on the bottom left-hand side of your screen

  2. Click Project Templates

  3. Select the template from which you’d like to remove materials

  4. Choose the Materials & Rates tab

  5. Click on the blue Material Manager button

  6. Select the checkboxes next to the material’s name

  7. Navigate to the blue toolbar that has popped up, and use the bin icon to delete the selected materials
