Automatically add site details (such as blocks, levels and zones) using our pre-built template. As your sites grow larger, the CSV import becomes a more efficient method for building and maintaining your site.

Bulk create your site with CSV import

How to bulk import a site using a CSV:

  1. Navigate to Site Manager in your project

  2. Select Import with CSV when starting to build your site

  3. Download the Site CSV template if you have not used the importer before.

  4. Open the Site CSV template in Excel, Google Sheets or another program that supports CSVs

  5. Add in your site data, making sure to:

    1. Give each block and level a unique name, e.g. Block 1, Block 2 and Level 1, Level 2

    2. Add in your zone and core information; this can always be added and edited later if it's not available at the time of upload

  6. Save your sheet as a CSV with the project name, e.g. Lewisham Site CSV

  7. Navigate back to Onetrace and upload the completed CSV

  8. Click Import CSV

  9. The summary will give you an overview of how many blocks, levels and zones are being imported into your site. You can scroll for further information and compare to your original CSV file

  10. Once you are happy everything has been uploaded correctly, click Add to Site in the bottom right-hand corner

  11. After the site data has been added into Site Manager, you can rename, move or delete blocks, levels and zones when needed

⚠️ Each block and level needs to have a unique name to be picked up by the importer; otherwise, it will disregard it as a duplicate.
