Add materials via a CSV

How to add materials via a CSV import:

  1. Navigate to the Library in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen

  2. Click on Materials

  3. Select Import Materials next to the + Add Material blue button

  4. Download and read through the CSV instructions - there’s important information about how to format your CSV, so the material data is picked up correctly by the importer

  5. Copy and paste the input types from Onetrace importer screen. You can find out more about input types here. It’s important to note that once a material has been added to your library, you can no longer change the input type

  6. Add in materials with associated groups and tags, making sure to add a comma between each tag

  7. Upload the completed CSV into Onetrace by clicking the next blue button

  8. Once your CSV has been imported successfully, a summary will show the materials ready to be added to your library

  9. If any errors have occurred, they will be flagged here, and you can rectify them in the original CSV and re-upload it into Onetrace

  10. Click the blue Add Materials button, and you will be taken to your library, where the new materials will be sitting

  11. You can add further information, such as supporting documentation and rates, to the materials once they have been uploaded into the Materials Library
