Adding materials to your projects will enable you to create a centralised database to track your material usage, rates and charges across all projects.
This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to:
Steps To Add Materials
1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com
2. Choose the Library tab using the left navigation bar.
3. Click Materials.
4. Click + Add Materials button.
5. Input the Material Name in the Material Name Field.
6. Using the Input Type dropdown, select the option you want.
βοΈ The selection of the input type determines the method for recording measurements for the chosen material.
7. Using the Group drop-down, select the Material Group.
8. Using the Tags drop-down, select the Material Tag.
β¨ You can also choose multiple Material Tags as per your requirements.
9. Click the Upload Files button to upload attachments (data sheets, instructions)
β¨ You can now:
π Choose to add this material to all existing projects by selecting "add to all existing projects"
π Choose to add this material to all existing templates by selecting "add to all existing templates"

10. Click the Add Material button to finish.
Adding and managing materials in Onetrace is now easier than ever. You can populate your materials library to keep an updated list of materials that are being used across your projects along with the charges and rates.
How To Tag Your Materials
1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com
2. Choose the Library tab using the left navigation bar.
3. Click the Materials tab.
4. Click the three dots from the top right side of your screen.
5. Click the Material Tags button.
6. In the Add Tag column, input the name of the Material Tag.
7. Click the Add button.
ππ» You can also add Material Tags by using the Settings tab from the navigation panel on the left directly.
How To Sort Your Materials Into Material Groups
1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com
2. Choose the Library tab using the left navigation bar.
3. Click the Materials tab.
4. Click the three dots from the top right side of your screen.
5. Click the Material Groups button.
6. In the Add Material Group column, input the name of the Material Group.
7. Click the Add button.
