Add sites manually
How to manually add sites:
Create a multi-site project, then click Go to project to start building your site.
Select Add sites in the centre of the screen if it’s your first time creating a site.
If you want to create a site in an already built-out project, click on Site manager via the Project setup or in the corner when in the Jobs, Job sheets and Approvals tab.
Click Add site in the right-hand corner.
Add the site name, e.g. for a social housing project, it could be Arbury House, Charlton House, or Orchard House.
Type the site address into the search bar, or add it manually. If you don’t have the address at the time of creation, you can skip this section.
Review the site address, and click Next.
If you’ve added a site address, a what3words code will be generated automatically. If you want to use a different location, click the Find location… button and copy the correct code back into Onetrace. Once you're happy with the location code, click Next.
Review your details on the summary page. If you're happy with the information, click Create site. If you want to change any part of the summary, click Back to go to the relevant section.
Once your site has been added to the site manager, you can edit or delete it by clicking on the site name. A sidebar will appear—hover over the section you want to edit and click the pencil icon to update the information.
Bulk import sites
How to bulk import sites via CSV:
Create a multi-site project, then click Go to project to start building your site.
Select Import from CSV.
Download the multi-site CSV template and open it in your spreadsheet platform.
Fill out the template with your site details:
Site name: This field is required to upload your file to Onetrace.
Address lines: These are optional. The country column only recognises official country names or two-digit ISO codes—use United Kingdom, as Great Britain, England, or Scotland will not work.
Notes: Add any other relevant site details here.
Save or download the completed sheet as a CSV file.
Upload the CSV into Onetrace and click Import CSV.
Review your details on the summary page. Onetrace flags any data errors here with instructions on how to fix them.
Click Back to re-upload your file if you need to make changes, or click Add sites to finish.
View your new listings in the site manager. From here, you can add more sites manually, delete listings, or add extra details like a what3words code.
