How to create a similar project using the Projects tab within your Onetrace account.

Create similar projects in Onetrace to improve efficiency and consistency across your sites. Copying an existing project allows you to leverage previous work rather than starting from scratch—saving you time and energy for other tasks.

  • Speed: No need to reconfigure settings, add files, or redo setup steps.

  • Consistency: Standardise your workflows while allowing for project-specific customisations.


Create a similar project

How to create a similar project:

  1. Navigate to Projects in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Select the project you would like to create a similar project from.

  3. Click the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner.

  4. Select Create similar project from the dropdown.

  5. Add the new project name, select or create a new client, and enter the site address.

  6. Customise the new project using the options below:

    1. Copy all project forms: You can customise these further when the project has been created.

    2. Copy materials and rates: Transfer existing material lists and pricing.

    3. Copy specifications: Move all project-specific requirements.

    4. Copy sits and locations: Including blocks, levels, and drawings.

  7. Once you are happy with the above, click Add project.
