How to start work from a visit, for both workforce and traceability.

Updated today

Starting a visit in the Onetrace app is designed to be straightforward, getting you from your homepage to your job sheet in just a few taps. By accessing your scheduled visits, you can review site instructions, find your way to the location, and clock in to projects, ensuring all your work is tracked accurately and your manager has the information they need in real time.

Start a visit on mobile

How to start a visit on mobile:

  1. View your scheduled visits for the day on the Onetrace mobile app. To see upcoming work, tap Show all.

  2. If your schedule looks empty, tap the Cloud icon at the top of the homepage to resync.

  3. Tap today’s visit to open the visit card. Here you’ll find the site address and any specific instructions from your admin.

  4. Tap Start visit. A modal will appear to confirm your clock-in location. If your location services are off, you’ll be prompted to enable them. Onetrace only captures your coordinates at the moment you clock in and out—we never track you throughout the day.

  5. Once you’ve finished your work, simply clock out.

  6. If you’re moving between sites and try to clock in at a different project, the system automatically clocks you out of your previous visit to keep your timesheets accurate.
