Step two: Add Solutions to Forms and Templates

How to add a Solutions field to forms, and to project templates for faster project creation.

Add Solution fields to a Form

Add a solution field to a form to allow operatives to include the technical or manufacturer file while they are working on site.

How to add a Solution field to a Form:

  1. Go to the Library in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

  2. Select Forms.

  3. Choose the form you want to add a solution field to.

  4. Click Edit at the top of the right-hand sidebar.

  5. Click Add at the top, or hover between fields in the centre of your screen to add a field directly.

  6. When the modal appears, select Solutions from the bottom.

  7. Name the field in the sidebar.

  8. Choose your field settings:

    1. Required

    2. Show on the PDF report (always or only when filled in)

    3. Show on public QR page (always or only when filled in)

  9. Click Save & Publish to begin using the Solution field.

Add Solutions to Templates

Reduce the need to manually add solutions to projects by including them in your project templates. This ensures your operatives have the right information ready from the start.

How to add a Solution to a Project Template:

  1. Go to the Library in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

  2. Select Project templates.

  3. Choose the template you want to update, or create a new one.

  4. Select Solutions from the sidebar.

  5. Click Select from library to add existing solutions from your organisation.

  6. If you need to create a new one, use the Go to library button to head to the dedicated solutions space.
