Create, edit and delete timesheets

How to create timesheets on mobile and desktop, edit or delete timesheets within the global view.

Timesheets are designed to help you better manage your team’s productivity with ease. They provide an accurate record of your operatives’ time and attendance, assuring you that your team is on track and on time, every time.


Create and edit timesheets

How to clock in and out to create a timesheet (mobile):

  1. Open the Onetrace app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the My Time tab (bottom-right corner).

  3. Tap All Projects at the top of the screen.

  4. Select the Project you want to clock in for.

  5. Tap Clock In. If this is your first time clocking in, you’ll be prompted to enable GPS tracking. Tap Enable Location to switch it on.

  6. Tap Start Timer to begin tracking your time.

  7. To clock out at the end of the day, open the Onetrace app on your mobile device.

  8. Go to the My Time tab (bottom-right corner).

  9. Tap the Stop Timer button. To stop the timer, you must manually Clock Out at the end of your shift on-site.

⚠️ Always remember to Clock Out after completing a job for the day.

How to create timesheets (desktop):

  1. Open the Timesheets tab from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click + New Entry.

  3. Select the Operative from the dropdown menu.

  4. Select the Project from the dropdown menu.

  5. Set the Clock-in date and time using the calendar icon.

  6. Set the Clock-out date and time using the calendar icon.

  7. Click Add Entry to save.

💡 To add multiple entries, switch to the Create More button and continue recording the information.

How to manually edit a timesheet (desktop):

  1. From the left-hand menu, select the Timesheets.

  2. Use the date range filter to choose the period you want to edit.

  3. Click the member’s name whose timesheets you want to edit.

  4. Select the Timesheet Entry you want to modify.

  5. Hover over the relevant Element, click into the Field, and make your changes.

  6. Click Done to save your updates.

How to delete a timesheet (desktop):

  1. In the left-hand menu, click the Timesheets tab.

  2. Use the date range filter to select the period you want to view.

  3. Click the member’s name whose timesheets you want to edit.

  4. Find the entry you want to delete, click the three dots () next to it, and select Delete Entry.
