The recall jobs feature allows you to manage outstanding tasks directly through the web app, removing the need to contact support when an operative is unavailable. Whether a team member has left the business, broken their device, or simply become unreachable, you can maintain full control over your project's progress.

  • Actionable management: force complete, reassign, delete, or recall jobs instantly to keep your records accurate.

  • Data integrity: ask reachable operatives to finish or cancel work on their own devices first to prevent duplication or traceability issues.

Force complete a job

If an operative has left the business, broken a device or can no longer complete the job, you can force complete their work for them to close off a project, or to recall the work to reassign. This can result in some data loss.

How to force complete a job:

  1. From a project or the global jobs page, select the job you would like to force complete.

  2. To the right of the job number, select Recall Job.

  3. A modal will appear to force complete, reassign or recall the job.

  4. Select Force Complete from the list, and click Next.

  5. A summary page will show, with details of the project, job, number of job sheets, operative and the device used.

  6. Click Confirm & Recall to force complete the job.

Reassign a job

How to reassign a job:

  1. Navigate to the specific project which contains the job or use a filter in the global jobs page to search.

  2. Click on the Job Number you wish to reassign.

  3. Reassign based on job status:

  4. Awaiting, Completed, or Cancelled: Click the Reassign button in the top-right corner.

  5. In-Progress: Click the Recall button next to the job number, then select Reassign in the pop-up modal.

πŸ’‘ Only Awaiting Jobs can be rescheduled. Recalling and reassigning an "In Progress" job may result in data loss, as it forces the transfer from one operative to another.

Recall a job

Recalling a job allows it to be restarted on another device.

How to recall a job:

  1. Navigate to the specific project which contains the job or use a filter in the global jobs page to search.

  2. Click on the Job Number you wish to recall.

  3. To the right of the job number, select Recall Job.

  4. A modal will appear to force complete, reassign or recall the job.

  5. Select Recall from Device from the list, and click Next.

  6. You will be taken to a screen which will show the operative and device information you are recalling.

  7. Click Confirm & Recall

  8. This job is now available to reassign or be started on a different device.
