Onetrace offers multiple tools to help you efficiently manage your materials. One key feature is the ability to archive and unarchive materials with just a few simple steps.

Archiving materials allows you to:

  • Clean up your workspace by hiding unused or outdated items.

  • Maintain a focused and organised view of active materials.

  • Retain historical data without permanently deleting anything.

When needed, materials can be easily unarchived, restoring them to your active list and making them available for use in projects again. This functionality helps streamline your workflow and ensures your material list stays relevant and manageable.

Archiving materials

How to archive materials:

  1. Navigate to the Library on the bottom left-hand side of your screen

  2. Choose Materials

  3. Select the material(s) you wish to archive by selecting the check boxes on the left of the material name

  4. Navigate to the blue toolbar that has popped up

  5. Select the folder icon, which will archive the selected material(s)

  6. Confirm by clicking the Archive button

Unarchiving materials

How to unarchive materials

  1. Navigate to the Library on the bottom left-hand side of your screen

πŸ’‘ Multiple materials can be archived and unarchived at the same time; this can be done by checking the boxes on the left-hand side of each material.
