Learn how to add contacts, edit your contacts, delete, archive and unarchive them using the Clients tab.

In Onetrace, the "Client's Tab" is your centralised space for handling all client-related information. Streamlining client management in your Onetrace projects is both quick and straightforward. Onetrace gives you multiple ways to manage your contacts - archiving and unarchiving contacts. Archiving contacts that are no longer valid will ensure that your operatives have the relevant point of contact when working on-site.

This guide will assist you with the following:


Steps To Add a Contact

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Clients tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click on the Name of the client to which you want to add the contact.

4. Click the three dots on the top-right and select Contacts from the dropdown menu.

5. Click the + Add Contact button.

6. Input the contact's Name, Telephone Number, and Email Address.

7. Click the Add Contact button.


Steps To Edit a Contact

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Clients tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click on the Name of the client within which you want to edit the contact.

4. Click the three dots on the top-right corner of your screen and select Contacts from the drop-down menu.

5. To edit the details of a contact, click on the Contact whose information you want to modify.

6. Make the changes as intended and click the Save Changes button.


Steps To Delete a Contact

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Clients tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click on the Name of the client from which you want to delete the contact.

4. Click the three dots on the top-right corner of your screen and select Contacts from the drop-down menu.

5. Check the box to the left of the Contact's Name that you want to delete.

6. Click the Delete button.

7. Type 'DELETE'

8. Click the Confirm button.

🚨 Be sure to enter DELETE in all capital letters only.


Steps To Archive a Contact

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Clients tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click on the Name of the client from which you want to archive the contact.

4. Click the three dots on the top-right and select Contacts from the dropdown menu.

5. Check the box to the left of the Contact's Name that you want to archive.

6. Click the Archive button.

7. Click Archive to confirm your action.


Steps To Unarchive a Contact

1. Log into your account at app.onetrace.com

2. Choose the Clients tab using the left navigation bar.

3. Click on the Name of the client from which you want to unarchive the contact.

4. Click the three dots on the top-right and select Contacts from the dropdown menu.

5. Swap the Active Contacts filter for Archived Contacts using the drop-down menu.

6. Check the box to the left of the Contact's Name that you want to unarchive.

7. Click the Unarchive button.

8. Click the Unarchive button to confirm your action.
