With Onetrace, your operatives will carry out their work on their mobile devices through the Onetrace mobile app. Once they have completed their job sheets, they will need to submit their completed jobs. This will provide admins the ability to see jobs being completed in real-time.

Sometimes there may be a situation where a job does not get submitted upon completion. This may be because an operative forgets to submit the job using the app or leaves your company before submitting the job.

To ensure that your work does not get hampered, Onetrace has the option of "Force Submit" which you can seek via our customer support team.

What is Force Submit?

Essentially, the β€˜Force Submit’ function is an emergency option to have the Onetrace customer success team manually submit a job for you.

How Can I Request a Force Submit?

Our customer success team is ready to help if you end up in a situation where a Force Submit is needed, but it requires careful consideration on your part to avoid unintended data impacts.

Can a Force Submit Lead to Data Loss?

It's important to note - forcing a Force Submit request can lead to data loss. As a rule of thumb, Force Submit should only be used as a last resort when an operative cannot submit a job themselves.

So we only recommend using Force Submit in certain circumstances, like when a device is lost/stolen or an operative is unreachable. Generally, it's best if operatives can submit their own jobs to prevent potential data issues.
