Start a job within the mobile app and on the web

How to start a new or scheduled job on mobile and the web, how to start or carry on a job from a visit.

A job is a container for your job sheets—the work you complete while on site. You can start one from scratch or pick up one that's already scheduled. There are three ways to get going.

Start a job on mobile

How to start a job on mobile:

Start from a visit

  1. Select an assigned visit at the top of your mobile homepage.

  2. Tap Start visit to begin your timesheet and to start a job. Any in-progress jobs from that project or site—carried over from the previous day or week—will also show under each visit.

Start from a scheduled job

  1. Go to My Jobs in the bottom bar.

  2. Scheduled jobs sit in the awaiting section of your homepage, ready for you to open and start.

  3. Any instructions and forms attached by your admin will appear in the summary page.

Create a new job

  1. If you have the right permissions, tap the + button in the top-right corner to start a job of your own.

💡 You can create and submit job sheets directly from your desktop. If you need to head to the site, you'll be able to resume the job on the app.

Start a job on the web

How to start a job on desktop:

  1. Select Projects in the sidebar.

  2. Choose your project.

  3. Click the arrow next to Schedule job.

  4. Select Start new job online.

  5. Enter the job details—including reference, forms, site contact, and instructions.

  6. Click Start job.

  7. Submit your job sheets to evidence your work.

💡 You can create and submit job sheets directly from your desktop. If you need to head to the site, you'll be able to resume the job on the app.
